Lomography has introduced a new edition of their incredibly successful $1million Kickstarter-funded Lomo’Instant camera with the Lomo’Instant Montenegro. I you think ‘vintage looking Polaroid,’ you won’t be too far off!
Lomography are calling it ‘the most creative instant camera ever’ and we’d be hard pressed to argue with them. Inspired by the Balkan country famous for its beaches, medieval villages and rugged mountain ranges, the Montenegro looks immaculate and it’s got the specs to back up the look too.
The Lomo’Instant Montenegro comes with three modes. It has an auto flash shooting mode so you can easily shoot with a flash by the touch of a button. But if you like the look of a vintage camera, chance are you’ll like to take things into your own hands, so you can also switch to the two manual shooting modes that open up all kinds of experimental shooting possibilities.
The camera has a built-in 27mm equivalent Wide Angle lens, which will capture more than your eyes can see and allows you to shoot up close and personal shots with the 0.4m closest focusing distance.
There’s also two additionally lens attachments with the Fisheye and Portrait lenses. The 170-degree Fisheye lens will give you weird and wonderful circular instants, while the 35mm equivalent Portrait lens attachment is great for portraits as well as street photography and landscape shots.
You can also jazz up your images with a selection of colour gels that come with the Lomo’Instant. Choose from Blue, Red, Purple and Yellow filters that you can attach over your flash for a bit of artistic flair.
The Montenegro edition of the Lomography Lomo’Instant is available now from the Lomography Website shop for £139. We think it’s well worth the value!
