Nuimo

Universal remotes are pretty readily available these days, but we don’t think we’ve seen any as beautiful or practical as the Nuimo! Using it you can control all of your devices through a simple and seamless physical controller.

Nuimo is an intuitive and natural way to interact with your connected devices. It works with any Bluetooth device or application, which means that there are plenty of options for its usage.

Nuimo has a number of touch based inputs that feel familiar. It incorporates capacitive touch, gesture recognition and a 360-degree analog ring that gives you precise control over everything from the volume of your music to switching off your lights. These inputs are easily changeable to the devices and applications you care about most, including Sonos, Philips Hue, Spotify, Netflix, Soundcloud and YouTube.

The Nuimo has four controls: Click, Turn, Swipe, and Fly, which can each be programmed to perform whichever control you choose via an accompanying app. The LED matrix on the face of the device lets you change apps quickly or even display a handy timer app in the kitchen.

Nuimo can connect to anything that uses Bluetooth Low Energy, this also includes your computer as well as most connected devices. No additional hardware is required to connect to your smart devices.

We’re assured setup is simple through a smartphone or computer – simply load on the applications you want for Nuimo and adjust the controls to suit your needs. Once setup is complete you can switch through apps you’re using a control on the face of the device. Simple.

We love the look of the Nuimo and think it would go perfectly in any modern home. It’s being sold on Kickstarter for around £85 in either Black or White. It’s already made its goal with plenty of days to spare to all the discounted Nuimo’s have gone but we still think it’s worth the price.
