One of Britain’s most renowned audio manufacturers Ruark has just announced the release of its highly anticipated R5 High Fidelity Music System. Incorporating the company’s knowledge of the past with its vision of the future, the R5 is the perfect ‘all-in-one’ system for music and design enthusiasts alike.

British Audio Specialists Ruark Announce R5 Music System

Ruark’s R5 follows in the footsteps of the flagship R7 model. Packing all of the design cues and audio features which made the R7 so pioneering, the R5 scales things down with a hand-crafted audio cabinet perfect for any stylish home, thanks to its sleek form and outstanding audio performance.

Like all Ruark’s creations, sound is at the forefront of design. As such, the R5 uses newly developed Class A-B amplifiers in a 2.1 configuration to provide a beautifully natural frequency response through a powerful neodymium magnet system coupled with a lightweight cone/coil assembly, and a long-throw subwoofer.

As with Ruark’s other products, the exclusive RotoDial controller on top makes operation simple, but the R5 comes with a matching ‘radio-link’ remote too. It can also be controlled using Ruark’s LINK app on iOS and Android devices, making browsing music and setup for multi-room a simple task.

When it comes to playback the R5 naturally has virtually every option covered, with comprehensive Wi-Fi streaming, a multi-format CD player, aptX HD Bluetooth, DAB/FM and Internet radio tuners, USB playback/charge port, analogue and digital inputs, including a dedicated RIAA input for your turntable.

Available in Rich Walnut or Soft Grey lacquer, the Ruark R5 High Fidelity Music System will be available in Spring 2019 from the likes of John Lewis and Selfridges for £999. Find out more over at the Ruark Audio Website.
