Italian home appliance manufacturers Smeg have just added two new small domestic appliances to its stunning range of 50s style homewares, both paying homage their Mediterranean heritage. Introducing Smeg’s first stand-alone Coffee Machine and a sleek Citrus Juicer.

These Smeg Coffee Machine and Citrus Juicers Are a Thing of Beauty

While the name will probably evoke memories of Craig Charles and Red Dwarf, Smeg are actually one of the largest home appliance companies in Italy. Founded in 1948 by the Bertazzoni family, the brand is now into its third generation having continued to build homeware with consistent know-how and unwavering passion.

The CJF01 Citrus Juicer comes in Smeg’s traditionally curved and compact styling and is out to declare war on peel, pith and pip. It’s been specially developed to squeeze both large and small fruit and dispense every last drop of juice directly into a glass or cup.

The Citrus Juicer features a motor with an in-built sensor as well as an automatic on/off function, making the process of extraction easy and effortless. The reamer is also dishwasher safe and features a Tritan lid – which doubles as a container to collect peel.

Whether you prefer an espresso, cappuccino, latte or latte macchiato, the Smeg ECF01 Coffee Machine has you covered and allows you to create and enjoy your coffee of choice in the comfort of your own home.

Boasting a slim, form-fitting design that comes complete with a powerful 1350W pump, the Smeg Coffee Machine is designed in stainless steel and features a cup tray and filter holder, offering three different filtering options; single, double and the option to use ground coffee or paper pods.

The ECF01 is user friendly and thanks to its Thermoblock technology, it can switch quickly between coffee and steam functions, with the cappuccino system mixing steam and air to your milk to effortlessly prepare a thick and rich foam for your cappuccino.

Both available in a range of pastel colours, the Smeg CJF01 Citrus Juicer will retail for £109.95, while the Smeg ECF01 Coffee Machine is on sale for £279.99 over at the Smeg Website at the beginning of December.
